- Settings → Cursor Settings → Models, scroll to the bottom.
- Enter your
sk-...key in OpenAI API Key. - Enable Override OpenAI Base URL and set it to
https://llmapi.pro/v1. - Click Verify — a green check means it works.
- Under Models, Add Custom Model and enter
gpt-opus-4-8, then save and enable it.
Notes
- Recent Cursor versions reserve all
claude-*names, so they cannot be added through the OpenAI Base URL override.gpt-opus-4-8is the Cursor compatibility alias; the subscription gateway maps it toclaude-opus-4-8on the same V3 model path. - Cursor uses the OpenAI-compatible protocol, so keep
/v1in the Base URL.
